AeroV® is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) service that transforms any smartphone into an extension of the aircraft's phone system. Developed by Satcom Direct, AeroV® stands out as the first VoIP solution tailored specifically for aviation, enabling seamless voice communication through the aircraft’s broadband internet connection without the need for a computer.

Upon connecting to the aircraft Wi-Fi, users can easily make calls using their phone's contact list, effectively making their device a part of the aircraft's communication system. The service integrates with the Global One Number® (GON), allowing direct reachability through a configured extension.
